How did you find out about the eda?
Coach Gary and Coach Ren invited me last year to play ball on the Luther Burbank varsity baseball team. I have known these coaches for about one year. Both coaches invited me to go to the combine. Coach Ren is my current baseball coach.
WHAT DOES THE EDA OPPORTUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
This scholarship means the world to me . I am truly grateful for this amazing opportunity. I will continue to work hard at baseball and school. I want to be able to go to college, play baseball, and get a college education.
Share a little bit about your background...
I am a multi-ethnic African American, Japanese, and Caucasian male who has experienced bullying and racism in school. Baseball has given me a positive outlet in which I have felt accepted and respected on the field.

I have been playing baseball and basketball for two years.
What career would you like to do?
It is my dream to be a professional baseball player. I want to be able to help my family financially.
