Hey, my name is Yerdin; it's a unique name my mom came up with. I'm 18 years old, and I attend school at St. Augustine. I have been playing baseball since I was 4. I love to workout in my free time, and my favorite food is plantains with salami.

How did you find out about the eda?
I found out about the program because of my coach, Eddie Davis. He emailed me the showcase, and I researched it and had to go. I have known Coach Eddie since I was 13. He’s an excellent coach and has helped me become the player I am today.
WHAT DOES THE EDA OPPORTUNITY MEAN TO YOU?
This scholarship means a lot to me; coming from a household with five kids and one mom it would really help her out a lot.
